Booklaunch Entendue by Charlotte Dumas

Entendue brings together photographs and drawings of elephants — images Charlotte took with her father’s half-frame camera, alongside some of his early charcoal sketches, his very last elephant drawings, and ink forms made by both of them. Born of memory and shared experience, these works became an anchor in seeking a deeper understanding of humans and elephants — what we receive from and owe to one another, within our families and across the distance of our separate lives. Spanning decades, these encounters have quietly shaped this book, which became a meditation on memory, kinship, and the threads that weave through generations of humans and animals alike.
